Chamchi bokkeumbap 참치볶음밥 – fried tuna rice

Chamchi bokkeumbap 참치볶음밥 is a very good dish for kids and people who for some reasons can’t eat spicy food. It’s very easy to make and although it may not seem too good because of small amount of used ingredients, it really tastes good.

55g of tuna in big chunks (canned),
100g of cold rice,
1 small carrot (chopped),
1 onion (chopped),
1/2 green onion (chopped),
30ml of vegetable oil,
1 teaspoon of sesame oil,
a pinch of black pepper,
a pinch of salt.

Pour vegetable oil into a heated pan, add rice and salt and fry for about 5 minutes. In a different pan, sauté onions and carrot for a few minutes. When they get soft, add the tuna. While stirring, try not to crush it too much.

Add rice and a teaspoon of sesame oil. Mix it carefully. Sprinkle some black pepper.
